Endorsement
Definition
A peer's formal acknowledgment that they observed a specific skill being demonstrated during a session. Endorsements carry weight proportional to the endorser's own trust tier.
Why it matters
LinkedIn endorsements are clicks with no accountability. In a skill economy, endorsements must be earned through observed evidence and carry the endorser's reputation as collateral.
How Lemma uses this
On Lemma, endorsements are generated through peer sessions. An endorsement from a Verified-tier practitioner carries more weight in SCI computation than one from a Newcomer.
