Evidence Types
Definition
The categories of observable proof generated during peer sessions: code produced, problems solved, concepts explained, design decisions made, and peer observations recorded.
Why it matters
Not all evidence is equal. A design decision under time pressure carries different weight than a syntax correction. Categorizing evidence types allows for nuanced, accurate SCI computation.
How Lemma uses this
Lemma's event system categorizes evidence by type when recording peer session outcomes. The SCI projection weighs different evidence types according to the skill being evaluated.
